I have been a client of this veterinary practice for many years and have consistently received excellent care from Dr. Hazel. In recent years, Dr. Russ has also attended to my pets. However, I experienced an incident involving Dr. Russ that I found to be unprofessional. I contacted the clinic with what I believed to be an urgent matter requiring veterinary advice. A response was not provided until the following day. During the subsequent phone call, I felt Dr. Russ was accusatory, suggesting I was neglectful towards my dogs, and the conversation ended abruptly when he hung up on me. I made several attempts to contact the clinic to clarify whether my appointments, scheduled within the coming week, would still be honored. Due to the lack of resolution, I was compelled to seek a new veterinary service provider on short notice to ensure the health and well-being of my two adult dogs and their litter of ten puppies. Since transferring my pets' care to Deerfield Animal Hospital, I have been very satisfied with the professionalism and expertise demonstrated by their staff.

They were very nice and got me in when no other vet would. It was 40 mins away but we'll worth the trip. It f you ever need a vet that cares then I suggest you go there. The staff was very pleasant. Will keep going there.

Working with the techs was great but they screwed up the paperwork for the rabies license and refuse to fix it. The office confirmed that they did in fact give a 3 year booster but put a 1 year expiration date which has cause me tons of headaches with meds and care for my dogs especially the female because she doesn’t tolerate vaccines well as she has a sensitive system they make her sick for days. If they can confirm they made a mistake then it should not be an issue to fix a simple clerical error so things can go back to normal
