I was changing vets. I enjoyed the atmosphere. I really enjoyed the techs and the vet that I saw. Very informative. Explained everything and was very upfront with price and what the plan to rectify the problem.

I take my Kiki girl here and they are great with her. After her vaccinations she seemed to be in pain and they just called her in pain medication. No appointment, no added stress for Kiki. I felt heard and respected. She’s in and out in no time and prices are very fair. Of course I recommend insurance to be reimbursed, but I have yet to break the bank at check out.

Not being from Mass, I chose Bradford Vet Hosp because of its proximity to my home and google reviews. I was able to get a "happy, welcome visit" very quickly and when Lacy, was having a bad reaction to something, I asked to come in even earlier, they got me in. Lacy's first visit was with Dr Maxmen, I can't even put into words other than, I won LOTTO! He was personable, kind, compassionate, patient, informative, professional and NEVER pushing something I was not comfortable with. He listened and answered with care and consideration to ALL my needs. I never felt rushed or unheard. As for reading some of the negetive posts here, I can honestly say, as a responsible and loving animal owner for 63 yrs, I've dealt with many vet clinics over the years. I understand the emotions around caring for your family member. However, I also know, no matter what you do, there will always be someone that has a bad experience or not happy. I will just have to say, completing my first, I will have no issue with entrusting the care and comfort of Lacy, with Bradford Vet Hosp. Thankyou, Dr Maxmen for an amazing first visit and prividing me with the intro and experience into what you obviously care so much about!

I have been going to Bradford animal Hospital for a few years now with my Biewer terrier Cody, who is 14 1/2 years old. My sweet pup was due for his yearly check up and was due to have a Rabies vaccine booster. I expressed my concern to them that due to my sweet Cody's age again 14 1/2 years old that I was very concerned about giving him this vaccine at his tender senior age. Veterinarians in the state of Massachusetts have an option to issue a waiver that goes to your town or city health department that waves the administration of this vaccine. The waiver can easily state that the veterinarian feels that the dogs health could be in jeopardy if receiving this vaccine. The veterinarian flat out refused to even consider issuing the waiver, claiming the age was not sufficient enough for her to put her name on this she's just afraid of the liability that's all it was. She wasn't even compassionate enough to explain it to me directly. Instead, she chose to communicate through her front desk receptionist, instead of having the decency to talk to me directly and explain her position, she claimed that the age was not enough to waive the administration of this vaccine. Well, if she had taken the time to look into my dog's records, my dog did have a tick born illness two years ago, which as far as far as I'm concerned, made him susceptible to a vaccine that could prove to be deadly. I also shared a story where my grandmother had a 12 year-old pug the she was forced to give this booster to her dog and her dog was dead within 12 hours from a reaction from that shot. When you look at their Facebook page, they have all these cute posts of dogs that look very happy and all these great success stories but the underlying factor is this is not a good place to take your pet if you love your animal. I recommend that you choose another vet for your care. I am a well educated person that does not typically write reviews pretty much for anything, but I felt the need to write this negative review about Bradford Animal hospital. I'd like to mention that it smells in there of animals, which of course they all do, but it's excessive and every time we go there, we are covered in dog hair because they don't take a minute to clean their floors during the day. I've compared their fees to many other vets and they are extremely high in comparison so word to the wise buyer Beware if you love your Animal. I would choose another vet, whereas this is not a good choice.
