Nothing but love for the staff at this place. I came here as a brand new first time dog owner. My girl was only 13 weeks old and I was still learning the ropes in 2022. Everyone there was not only EXTREMELY kind but eager to help me learn and share there experience with me. My dog was/ is very high strung and I relied heavily on pretty much every service they offered for the first couple of years and they were always there for me. I called them a lot in the first 6-9 months of my adoption with questions and concerns. They were there for me every step of the way even when I probably sounded like a crazy lady asking dumb questions about my dog's eating habits or whatever. My Luna always feels comfortable coming here whenever we get in the car and pull up to the building for anything she never feels anxious no matter the reason for the visit and some of the reasons have been pretty horrific, let me tell you. But I haven't had a bad experience yet that was due to any of the staff. They have been great at reassuring me and helping me to better understand my dog and what she needed to get and stay healthy. I truly love coming here.

PLEASE READ - BEWARE The staff at this animal hospital may appear friendly, but their negligence is unforgivable. I brought my 9lb miniature dachshund, Olive, in to receive her updated vaccines. She is just under two years old. I had visited this Vet once before and expected to trust their care. Olive was given four shots in one visit with no recommendation to split them across appointments. Shortly after returning home, she became severely swollen and uncomfortable. I had to bring her back for two additional injections to reduce the swelling, which cost $178, after already paying over $400 for her checkup and vaccines. Why am I paying for the consequences of their poor judgment? The staff mentioned they would contact the vaccine company for a possible reimbursement, but that resolution is not sufficient. If the team had been more thorough in their guidance, such as recommending Benadryl beforehand or advising that the vaccines be given separately due to Olive’s small size, this situation could have been prevented. The doctor also failed to explain potential risks or provide aftercare instructions, which shows a disappointing lack of diligence. I understand Olive has received these vaccines before, but it is the responsibility of both the front desk and the doctor to provide updated care recommendations and to review potential side effects each time. When I brought Olive back for the second time, the staff laughed and commented on how “cute” her swollen face was. I thought she couldn’t breathe! This behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. If a child came in swelling after vaccination, would anyone find that amusing? I will not return to this Vet and strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Do not let their pleasant demeanor mislead you into trusting them with your pets health.

I love Neponset! Staff and vets are so kind and welcoming. I have a crazy Frenchie and sometimes feel bad for his attitude, but Neponset remains patient, kind, and loving! They are on the expensive side but it's worth it to make sure my paw baby is healthy.
