Best service. My own vet VCA) had no time at all to see my little dog who was bleeding from her paw. It was 5:30 pm on a weeknight She is a rescue,blind and deaf. Before me, she was abl abused for 10 years by a crazy lunatic. I have followed a few of the now VCA vets for over 15 years with my previous dog until he had to be put to sleep. At that time, they worked under Dr. Norm Stillman in Plymouth Loving, caring ladies. No matter what time, your pet would be seen, you might wait, but you would be seeing someone and leaving feeling that you and your furbaby, were important enough to at least be seen. This has changed. The structure of VCA is corporate thru and thru. The price you pay (if you are not wealthy but just love your pet) is exorbitant. There is no ceiling on what they can charge you. You love your pet and now you wonder what test is more important to help than the other one. I understand everyone needs to feed their family, vets included, but where does compassion come into this picture? For me, thank the Lord, it came at Duxbury Vets. I called and told them the problem. It was almost 6 pm. They were full but said bring her over now. Dr.Baker was able to find the cause of the bleeding (a wort that had come off with a lot of blood that I couldn't stop) He took her immediately and after sterilizing and wrapping her little foot we were on our way home. With a bill half the price or less that I would have received at VCA. Their tech told me to go to Urgent Vet Care in Plymouth. The last time I paid over $800 for blood work that showed nothing. I got a call the next day from Duxbury Vets just checking to see how we were doing. All vets are expensive, like our doctors. But there is no "price gouging" here. Thank you DV.

Everyone at Duxbury Animal Hospital has been fantastic. I’m extremely confident in the care and advice they’ve provided for my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Charlie. It’s reassuring to know he’s in such capable and caring hands. Thank you to the whole team for taking such great care of him!

We have been with Duxbury Animal Hospital since early 80s. They have cared for our litters of hunting beagles and short haired pointers. They have been there always for emergency care and concerns. And still are there immediately if we have any concerns with Louie. Always excellent care and treatment. Thank you

It can be difficult to find rabbit-savvy vets around here, and I couldn't be happier with how the people here handled it. Incredibly kind and understanding folks that helped my bun feel better and me feel less stressed about him - and not too expensive to boot. If anyone from there reads this, thank you all, especially Kimberly and Dr. Baker :)
