Amazing doctors and the ladies at the front desk are so passionate and so amazing when I Chiquita in for her first physical the amount of respect and love they gave her is amazing I recommend this place and the insurance is so cheap

I'd like to express our deepest gratitude to VCA Shaker rd. animal hospital for their compassion and care of not only our beloved cat, but the comfort they gave us also. We had to make a difficult decision and Mischa Leavey, DVM, and Stephanie gave our Samhain the gift of passing with dignity, with us by his side. Thank you both for allowing us time with him (not rushing) and for the sweet paw prints created. We are forever grateful for your kindness.

Dr. Roy is the best exotic vet I have ever seen. I unfortunately had to have my bearded dragon euthanized and the entire staff was so kind, gentle, and empathetic during the entire process. Thank you to the entire staff for making such a difficult decision as comforting as possible ❤️

After a pretty upsetting experience with the South Hadley location (they turned my sick ferret away for being 13 mins late in a blizzard - actually turned around in their parking lot and drove home, no compassion, no empathy, no sorry, just flat out uncaring which even further upset me - I left a review on their profile) The Longmeadow location, however, turned that around. They fit me in within the week after this, and they were wonderful with my ferret, it was warm and welcoming, I felt like they loved what they were doing and loved animals they way they should in that profession. Dr. Roy was very thorough and they even cleared the next day to fit my lil guys surgery in because it could not wait. Expensive yes, but its literally an operation - that's to be expected. I'm grateful to have found a new place to bring all of our fur children. My ferrets surgery went well and he is home happy and resting - and feels much better. I was able to set up interest free payments for 18 months as well using Care Credit.
