If I could give this review zero stars, I would. I don’t know that I’ve ever left a negative review for anything, but I want to warn people about this horrible vet who caused my cat so much pain and suffering because of her ego. I had a kitten that I found outside of a home I purchased, and he was being treated by my vet. He had severe diarrhea and was pretty sick so she advised waiting a few weeks until he was healthy and nourished and stable to vaccinate him, since his immune system was likely too weak to respond to the vaccines at that point. We dewormed him and checked his vitals and put him on a special diet of bottle feeding and then RC mother baby food. He was about 4-5 weeks when I found him. I had to travel to Massachusetts for work for a few months, so I brought him with me so that he wasn’t left alone with only a pet sitter. He continued to have diarrhea and it got worse when he transitioned to food. He wasn’t eating well, so I looked for a localvet to take him to because I was concerned about dehydration and I couldn’t get to my vet for another week for my next appt because I was 2 states away. Instead of helping me to treat his issue, the vet obsessed over him not being vaccinated and treated me like a horrible pet owner (I’m a health care professional who worked as a vet tech for 10 years before going into human medicine). She insisted I vaccinate him despite my concern for his health and threatened to report me as a rabies risk (all because I shared the story of how he had a rough start since I found him at 3-4 weeks in a window well with a small wound and now he’s having constant diarrhea for weeks. (The wound was healed and gone at this point and my vet wasn’t concerned about it). I later found out from my vet that he simply had a resistant coccidia infection that needed treated again. I conceded to the vaccines because she guilted and threatened me. He was listless after his vaccine and his diarrhea worsened and he began vomiting. Not only did she not help him, she reported me as a rabies risk. I was forced to pay $500 the next day and take him to another vet, get another rabies vaccine and take him back to my state to be quarantined. My vet was flabbergasted. I was beyond words, but did what I was told He developed an immune mediated hemolytic anemia from being sick and over vaccinated. I’ve since spent tens of thousands of dollars taking him to specialty hospitals, having every test, ultrasound, biopsies done, trying to make him better. Two years later he is still struggling. I would sue her if I hadn’t spent all of my savings treating this sweet little guy. I will never forgive this woman for what she did to the most sweet, gentle kitten I’ve ever known. Her judgmental arrogance has caused a condition that my cat may never recover from. I came to her for help. She took my money, bullied me and irreparably harmed my cat. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

This is the only vet I know of that cares for cats only. My cat feels more comfortable here than other vets that care for dogs as well. Scheduling is easy. Everyone is wonderful, and Dr. Sally is just the best. I moved away and moved back to the area two years later. She remembered Toby, even particular features. I don't require that level of familiarity, but that Dr. Sally and her staff love their clients that much means a lot!
