I have numerous animals that Dr. DiBoot cares for. The hospital does charge first time clients a non refundable deposit to secure the appointment however, that is credited towards the first visit. Totally understandable! All of my animals have been treated with gentleness and with great detail. Dr. DiBoot strives to ensure each animal is healthy and comfortable. She is one of the most compassionate vets I have met. If you want a family feeling practice, this is it.

Update to the response I received from this review: So glad to hear you have an excellent practice with loyal clients- you’re right I’m not sure what your service or care is like or who is “better” so I did redact that from my review, but either way my experience was not a positive one as a potential client. My review was honest and did mention I haven’t been there and is warning others that the deposit is truly non-refundable despite showing up, being on time, and/or canceling months ahead. See below. Unfortunately, like you mentioned, animal hospitals are businesses so reviews do matter to the customer if there is no one recommending through “word of mouth” especially for someone new to the area. Good to know that your practice has improved since you took ownership. Lastly, if clients or potential clients are canceling or not showing up, or even late, maybe have a cancellation policy in place with a fee instead that would cover credit card costs. Or charge people what you would be charged for credit card usage as a deposit which is surely not $100 per person. I called about a refund on Friday and was told the staff needed to speak to the manager and I’d hear back Monday. I received a voicemail today while I was at work telling me I wouldn’t get any part of the refund back and THEN wrote the review. To say you’d consider a partial refund before this “scathing” review is just not true because you didn’t consider it… it was just a no. Thanks so much for your quick response and hopefully it will be clearer for others in the future that they will not get their non-refundable deposit back even if they show up to the appt, are on time for their appt, don’t cancel to close to their appt but rather months ahead, and/or decide to not be a client. Most places in any field are non-refundable if clients are being disrespectful of the practice’s and other clients’ time by showing up late or not at all or canceling. They also usually give a client one exception since we are all human and make mistakes or have emergencies from time to time. Again thanks for the quick response! Best of luck to you as well. Did not even make it here but still paid money- FYI There are TWO Animal Hospitals in Rowley- this animal hospital CHARGES A NON-REFUNDABLE SCHEDULING FEE. Muddy Creek was actually appalled they did that and I've never heard of that before either...I had booked with both and realized Muddy Creek is the one I actually wanted and now they won't give me my $100 back. Did they say non-refundable? I'm sure they did and put it in writing, but I honestly was thinking that only meant if I canceled close to the appt. time or didn't show up which would make sense. It is absolutely non-refundable even if you cancel the appt. TWO MONTHS AHEAD OF TIME and/or also decide not to be a client there. I'm sure I'm not the only one who made the mistake of confusing the two animal hospitals. People probably have tried to switch before and they're trying to keep clients/make some money by having a fee. I am so disappointed and disgusted by the idea of the fee, not the actual amount- keep my $100 and I will go to the one down the road! Hope this helps someone else not book here if they really want Muddy Creek.

I wish we found this practice years ago! Everyone in the office is so caring and compassionate. We recently had to euthanize our very much loved family cat, and they came to our house which made the entire experience easier for all of us. They even sent us a beautiful plant and a card signed by the entire office, such an unexpected and kind gesture I will not forget.
