I have bringing my pets to SVH for many years, and we have been through several staff changes. My most recent experience was very positive. Dr Robinson was so kind to my Corgi, and to me. She listened to my concerns and explained everything that was going on. Mel, the technician, was great also, and took such good care of my dog during the exam. The office staff was very pleasant and even though it was a busy day, I was not rushed through the appointment and payment phase. I feel like we are in very good hands at SVH, and I highly recommend this practice.

We've been going to Sturbridge Vets for many years. Their Vets are very caring and have always made my pet and their human parents feel very comfortable. They are also good about discussing and not pushing invasive or expensive procedures/treatments. You can tell they love cats and dogs.

I was referred to this clinic by my mother and was hopeful after hearing good things. The veterinarians themselves are very kind, patient, and helpful — you can tell they genuinely care about the animals. However, my experience with the front desk has been disappointing. The staff often come across as rude and impatient, which makes the clinic feel unwelcoming. Additionally, I was never informed that medication requests through Vetco can take 6–7 days for approval. It’s been 4 days and my dog’s flea and tick medication still hasn’t been approved. For anyone new to town and looking for a vet, I’m not sure I’d recommend this clinic — mostly due to the front desk experience.
