Good vet but she over charges and cares more about making money than the pets themselves. They didn’t want to work with me to help reduce cost so had to find another vet that didn’t require me to over pay for pet services. Update: 2/14/2026 Still overpricing on pet care. As you can see the reply was negative just like the veterinarian. She doesn’t want to work out an affordable price for pet care, just a money hungry clinic that over charges. You’re better off finding a better veterinarian that actually cares about your pets.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our family cat, Sunny, was with us for over 14 years. He was healthy, happy, and loved until the Doctor at this so-called “clinic” showed a shocking lack of knowledge, compassion, and professionalism. Instead of treating him with the care he deserved, she judged him simply because he was an outdoor cat. Not every cat is meant to stay indoors—some thrive exploring and roaming. That does not mean they should be treated differently, neglected, or looked down upon. The way we were spoken to was dismissive and cold. There was absolutely no empathy, no understanding, and no genuine concern for Sunny’s well-being. It felt like the staff cared more about their own opinions than about actually helping animals. My sister also has a cat in your system, and we had considered bringing another one here, but after this horrible experience, we know you do not deserve the trust of any family or any animal. This is not a clinic—it’s a horrible, uncaring house pretending to provide veterinary care. The lack of respect for both animals and their families is heartbreaking. You should not be trusted to touch, let alone care for, another pet. RIP TO SUNNY 💙

Review for Canton Veterinary Clinic I used to think this was a sweet, decent little place to bring animals—definitely seemed more suited for cats than dogs. However, after a few disappointing visits, our most recent experience was truly heartbreaking and has completely changed how we feel about this clinic. We brought in our senior cat who was in very poor condition. Despite his obvious health decline, the staff lacked compassion and didn’t seem to take his condition seriously—possibly because he was an indoor/outdoor cat. They ran some blood work, trimmed his nails, and sent him home, saying he was fine. Unfortunately, his symptoms worsened quickly after that visit. The very next day, we had to rush him to a different veterinary clinic, where we learned he was suffering from severe health issues—likely related to his kidneys—that should have been caught earlier. He had to be put down. It was devastating. What hurt even more was the cold and dismissive attitude at Canton Veterinary. There was no empathy, no sense of care or responsibility, and absolutely no emotional support from the staff. The whole experience felt clinical and heartless. The women working there only made a painful situation worse with their miserable attitudes. I’m not writing this to place blame, but to warn others: if you love your pet, please consider going elsewhere. We will never bring another animal here again. Rest in peace, our beloved fur baby. 💔
