I invited Dr. Johnson into our lives at an impossible time to help with the passing of my girls. She is kind, patient, and a wonderful veterinarian. I am incredibly thankful for her quick response time, long conversations and everything she did for us.
She was responsive, professional, and had convenient availability, and above all she had a very calm presence.
I can’t thank Dr. Johnson enough for helping my Mia cross the bridge. The choice to put a beloved pet to sleep is deeply personal and devastating. Having someone you’ve never met before come to your home to do it can add some additional anxiety. It was clear to me that Dr. Johnson placed focus to avoid any stress to the pet and held space and respect for the emotional aspect of the visit. Once it was done and she had left I told my partner “if I could have told myself years ago, that the day I say goodbye to Mia would be this peaceful and beautiful, I would have saved myself a whole ton of worry”. It was perfect and I am so so grateful for this service.
I switched to in-home care hoping to reduce my cat's anxiety about going to the vet, and I'm so glad I did. Every visit with Dr. Johnson was a pleasant, professional, low-stress experience in which the little patient was treated with gentleness, warmth, and respect. When kitty became terminally ill, Dr. Johnson was kind, supportive, and generous with her time and advice to help maintain our girl's quality of life until it was time to let her go. The last visit was as peaceful for our sweet girl as it possibly could have been. I couldn't have asked for better care for her. Dr. Johnson really is wonderful with both animals and people, and I can't speak highly enough of her care and kindness during a difficult time.
Just realizing now I never left a review - better late than never! Dr. Johnson assisted us with a peaceful passing in 2023. She met us with sincere empathy, kindness, and helped shape a horrible experience into a beautiful moment for us in our final moments with our dog Brody. Prior to her mobile vet service, I brought my other dogs to her for wellness exams at second chance veterinary clinic in Springfield MA. She has always stood out to us as a caring and compassionate professional. We highly recommend her and have sent her contact info to several friends and family who needed assistance with at home euthanasia.
Most recently, she agreed to help provide mobile services for a feral cat owe have become attached to and is very quick to reply and answer any questions we have. She is truly wonderful and I love that she is able to come to our home for some of our more sensitive animals who are unable to tolerate car rides to the vet. Dr. Johnson is a brilliant veterinarian and incredible human. When we moved our biggest concern was finding a new vet in this area. We have a house of 5 rescues, dogs and cats, and they are our family.
