Words cannot express how much I love Townsend vet and all that work there. I have had many fur family members pass through their doors and they always make me feel and my anxious fur patient feel we are the most important in the place. The empathy and compassion they show is 2nd to no one! Don't hesitate for 1 minute on bringing your fur loved one to see BJ and his great staff family

Don't recommend. Went there for a rash. Totally gas lit me & told me my dog was fine when the rash got worse & I ended up taking him elsewhere. Also, gave a vaccine without my consent, then told me I had to come back within 4 weeks for the second round even though I was going to be traveling, so after I informed them of that they said "oh nevermind, your dog will be fine with just one". Hands down the worst vet I've ever been to in the 9 years I've had my dog. Go to lunenberg. They not only fixed the issues but they also discovered other ones & told me numerous ways to save a buck so I didn't get left with a hefty bill.

My cat Spitfire was a patient of BJ's, he was great with her right up until she crossed the rainbow bridge, she was 23 years old. Spitfire did not like any doctors except BJ. Now I bring my 3 kittens to Townsend Veterinary Hospital, and they have provided wonderful services to us and our kittens. I wouldn't go anywhere else with my cats. Today my husband brought our kittens in for a kitten exam, there was a sign welcoming them and other animals as new patients, it was so cute. My mother-in-law also brings her cats there; BJ was wonderful with working with my mother-in-law who had to put her cat down unexpectedly. Townsend Veterinary Hospital was very caring and compassionate.
